so the doctor finally called me back. i've been told that on my ultrasound, they found a pooling of blood called a venous lake or placenta lake. t happens often in pregnancies and are usually ignored because they're small. mine is about the size of a chicken nugget from mcdonalds, and usually they wouldn't be concerned... except it's behind her placenta and extremely close to her umbilical chord. basically i'm now a high risk pregnancy and will get ultrasounds often to check and see if it's grown because if it does, it could possibly cut off her nutrient and blood supply. they're hoping the blood will just absorb back into my body or stay the same size until birth. there's a chance that i'll be put on bed rest. i don't know if any of you have experience with this, but if you have please let me know what happened and if you were put on bed rest/ baby came early/ something happened with your baby
