We were so lucky that we got the chance to experience the Asakusa’s “Tori no Ichi” celebration before we left Tokyo the next day. We witnessed how the event celebrated. There were food stalls in every streets which will make you very hungry; The festive chants from the sellers of Kumade everytime they made a sale; And lastly, seeing the locals how they pay respect to their traditions and how happy and proud they were while holding their Kumade. I kinda regretted that I didn’t follow @donna2tsuki ‘s advice to buy a Kumade and do the procedure for the full experience of the festival. Maybe next time (a.k.a.
