Not being an avid watcher of The Voice, I was new to the allure of Hunter Plake’s melting voice a few weeks ago when we shared the former contestant’s new song Morning Glow. It was also the first time we learned about Plake, the singer songwriter’s pop group with his brother Dakota. Now, armed with this new information and a fondness for their music, I gladly delve into Plake’s recent song Cold Vibes, a song far from cold with its atmospheric throbbing, synth florid pop. Cold Vibes is Plake’s second single, a sultry sweltering, melodic driving swooner. Plake also dropped a brand new airy waltzing ballad named ‘out of my mind’ which you can stream below. They plan on dropping an EP soon, though details are scant right now.

In my opinion Hunter Plake was one of the most talented artists on The Voice. He was jipped on the win. The music he is making with his brother is unbelievablely beautiful. Find out for yourself.
