Do you really think Stephen and Christine will get back together in Doctor Strange 2? I hope they do tbh.

I'm not sure. A lot has changed script wise I'm sure. Rachel wasn't initially supposed to return, and the director changed.

But if we're going off the first movie, then I truly believe it was set up that way. Just look how he held onto everything that was Christine during his stay in Kamar-Taj. The watch and the emails. He would even pick up the watch before emailing her. I think his feelings for her increased the more he let go of his old self. Because he was becoming more selfless.

Then look at the scene just after the Ancient One dies. It's obvious he's still in love with her. His "I don't want you to go" was more than just her leaving in that moment. He didn't want her to leave his life. And when she kissed his cheek, it was obvious he was hoping for something more. And people can debate me on that, saying that's not true, but if other fans can over analyze his facial expressions toward other random characters in the movies, I can with an actual character he was romantically involved with.

Then the last scene, the scene where he puts her watch back on. That is how the movie ends. That is very important. It's obvious he still harbors deep feelings for her and isn't ready to let go of them just yet. Comic book strange bedded a lot of women and breezed through relationships. He was kind of a womanizer. But I feel like because it's Disney, they toned that down and it's probably more when he was a surgeon and not a sorcerer. So I feel like MCU Strange doesn't move on from someone very easily. I feel like he will just carry on loving her until they get back together. Remember "only time will tell how much she loves him." I feel like that's not in there for funsie wunsies.

I do hope she plays a bigger role this time. She's a wonderful actress and deserves a more pivotal role. It also depends on the blip. Was Christine dusted as well? Or did she remain for the five years? If so, it's possible that she moved on and has entered a new relationship.

If the story allows, and they have time to do it correctly, I think they will get back together.
