This might be reaching, but don't you think it's odd that in this small scene, Lance moves on from looking at Allura to watching Pidge. Like, it wasn't necessary to show Allura's statue in this. It wasn't necessary to show him watching Pidge arrive either. We already knew Pidge was on her way to the celebration. They animated it either way. With Allura's statue behind him and Pidge in front of his sights. And the sky? Teal. A blue-green color. Hmmmmm.
