Plane Castle
Plane Castle, the baronial house of the Sommervilles, Lords of Plane from 1428 to 1643, is located 6 miles south of Stirling, on the edge of the Bannockburn battlefield. Both Plane Tower 1430, and the Manor House 1528, have recently been sympathetically restored.
