Last Song: I may or may not be reliving my angsty high school phase by blasting Good 4 U by Olivia Rodrigo on repeat (I've been listening to a lot more than that but figured it was the most honest answer)

Last Film: oh god um my bf can correct me...I think it was Moana the other day or maybe Captain Marvel a little bit ago.

Last Series: Through the whole last few months I've been bingeing Survivor for no good reason but my bf had me watch some Young Justice the other day so, whichever counts?

Sweet, Spicy, or Savory?: It depends on the day I guess? Generally sweet

Craving: I ordered a sandwich from Jimmy Johns for pickup and somehow, some way, I managed to get it WITHOUT BREAD accidentally (the receipt is evidence of the error of my ways) so I'm craving their good French bread :((((

Tea or Coffee: I can't have caffeine but a coffee shop nearby has incredible decaf chai lattes and those are my jam

Currently Working On: A combo of house cleaning and my WIP intros/character stuff/etc!

Ten Does Camp NaNo!

Hello crew! So, I am doing Camp NaNo (or at least I’m trying!) I’m not gonna go for the full 50,000 words, since NaNo killed me a little bit and I am busier right now than I was then. However, I’m going to be splitting my time between The Persistence of Unity (a short story collection about the zombie apocalypse, that I’m slowly introducing here) and hopefully getting closer to finishing SP!

Right now I’m mostly outlining, but come NaNo I’ll do my best to post some excerpts. I’ll tag everything as #ten does camp , so please blacklist that tag if you don’t want my spam lol!

1. Make some new IRL friends--My partner is moving away and we’ll have to do long distance for a year, and I need a better support system.

2. Be more confident in my enby self, including finding a style that is more “me.”

I did the damn thing!!! There will soon be a much more detailed post about how it went and reflecting, and there’ll definitely be an excerpt, but those will happen Tomorrow. Currently I shall rest my aching hands and attempt to not vibrate into infinity lol

Upsides to being told that you must remain at home bc your cold has utterly destroyed your lungs and you’re barely not in the ER: a fuck ton of writing time, and the strong hecking steroids they have put me on make me remember what feeling awake is

Downsides to remaining at home with fucked up lungs and constantly making sure you’re not in the ER: aside from my breathing being a mess, all the medications have one common thread: Shakey Hands
