Introducing FRQ DLX

FRQ DLX (Pronounced Freak Deluxe), always-in capital letters for his bold and big Sound. This DJ/Producer is a bit wrapped in mystery, as we can’t find any known images other than the logo. Nonetheless we are impressed with the work thus far.

FRQ DLX has landed various remixes on Warner Records, Nervous Records and most recently on Planet Hum. We know from Sample Republic co-founders Gabe Ramos and David Anthony that FRQ DLX has been a sound designer for Sampler Republic for quite some time. Some of the biggest and most successful DJ’s are sound designers or musicians. Greats such as: Deadmau5, who have made countless YouTube videos showing off his programming and producing skills, or Zedd, which is a classically trained pianist, to Kaskade, who is a well known sound designer/producer/engineer.

What these Producer/ DJ’s have in common is the ability to play instruments and program sounds from scratch. However, most EDM DJ’s don’t need to be musicians to play a club set, but as far as producing incredible remixes or original productions, it definitely can make that chart topping difference. As far as FRQ DLX goes, it’s rumored that he or she is from Sweden but no one can confirm. What can be said for sure is that FRQ DLX looks to be commanding attention by grabbing the ears and hearts of all the listeners. As a rising star in 2015, FRQ DLX’s big sound definitely seems to be the one to look out for. FRQ DLX = Quality Over Quantity.
