Tuesday is here! I bought the pack this morning and spent all day playing it :D here are my new grey seals, swimming about and chilling out on their beach. I cannot put into words how much I love watching them! I’ll be adding penguins tomorrow :)

This is an East Asian inspired shop shell that I created for two shops - you can place one at each end. The colour sheme of white walls with plain wood and gold accents is based more on Tibetan architecture rather than traditional Chinese, so I used these buildings near the snow leopard habitat in my zoo.

Solar Falls Zoo Tour 1/?

Welcome to Solar Falls! Over the next week I’m going to be taking you all on a tour of my finished zoo, beginning here with the entrance. As enter the zoo you walk under a rocky cliff from which a waterfall cascades, catching the light of the African sun and giving the zoo its name: Solar Falls. 

The entrance isn’t as grand as what some people are building - the main structure is actually a workshop item that I edited slightly. I’m exceptionally pleased with how the waterfall came out though - getting it just right took a lot of work. I’m also very happy with the sign which gets lit up at night. 

Coming up next - the flamingos, hippos, and crocodiles!

Wooow my first zoo is done??? I can’t really believe it, but I’ve added every animal I want to and it’s all running smoothly. I’m just adding the finishing touches and then I’m going to start on an east asian themed zoo. 

I’m really proud of this and I’m going to post more screenshots from it in the coming days :)

how do you get such good quality headshots with the focus and everything? all of mine come out so boring

It’s a combination of qutie high graphics settings and using Nvidia Ansel. I just got a new gaming laptop in the black friday sales so I’ve turned my graphics up a bunch, though not to the highest quality as I don’t want my game to lag. For a graphics card I have the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 and that comes with Ansel, which is a screenshot taking software that you can use in game. It comes with filters such as focusing which is the one I use the most because I like to have the animal in shot with the scenery blurred. This is my first time using it and I’m loving the results! I hope that helps <3

Yesterday I finally added lions to my African zoo :) They’re so expensive on the market so I picked up some without great stats, but they’ve just had gold star cubs! 

I’m also very proud of the terrain work I did for the back of their habitat, I spent a loong time on that.

I rennovated my peafowl habitat and added some aardvarks! Genuinely one of my favourite animals in the game, they are so fun to watch with their little fat bodies and cute little smiles. And the snoot. I love the snoot.
