Strong Teens & Teens Taking Action: Drug and Substance Abuse

Thursday, October 2, 7:00-8:00 A conversation about the reality of drug and substance abuse. Teen session facilitated by Jennifer Barker from CARE Dallas. Adult session presented by Sergeant Courtney Pero of the Plano Police Department. Parents and teens are invited to attend Separate programs at the same time. Conversations facilitated by experts on a variety of topics. Teens may earn one volunteer hour from Volunteers in Plano per program attended. Tutoring Tuesdays @ Harrington Library

September 30, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Harrington Library Free math tutoring help is available every Tuesday night at the library. Tutoring is for students struggling to maintain grade-level math, not those in advanced or honors classes. All materials will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring any unfinished math homework with them. Tutoring is provided by volunteers. Registration required. Space is limited. Learn Video Editing

Use our cameras and green screen, and edit with Adobe Premiere in this five-part series where we will create a video from start to finish. If you have a camera you want to use, bring it along!
