March 20, 2015 - my watermelon peperomia gets most of its light from the bathroom skylight but some of the lower leaves see the East window.

March 8, 2015 - and what light do my 3 little sansevieria hahnii plants get to work with? They sit in my room's North facing window. Since they are right up near the sill, they get ~200 foot-candles for most of the day - only diffused light. Although window light is one-sided, these plants don't grow very fast so phototropism (growing towards light source) is less obvious.
March 7, 2015 - as my gif-making skills are improving, I wanted to make a few of these gifs, which I'm calling: "plant view". This is what the spider plant, cc variegatum, sees from its upstairs hallway location: the skylight faces slightly west, letting in nice bright diffused light. The spider plant is almost directly under the skylight so it (and other plants by the railing) get the brightest light from this skylight. Stay tuned for more!
