I love these little toad purses. They’ve finally re-rooted and are putting out new growth! (Peperomia maijeri)

These got knocked around on accident a while ago and broke off hence having to get them new roots.

Peperomia fraseri at the University of Colorado EBIO Greenhouses. I had not realized, until I took this photo and examined it closely, that each of the white branches is not a flower but its own little inflorescence with many teeny tiny flowers.

Howdy!!

Hey all! A friend of mine asked me if I had a plant side blog when I told him I got a new plant, and I took that innocuous question as inspiration to start this page!

I am a plant hobbyist, an amateur plant mom - I am in no way an expert, I just know enough to not kill most of the plants I get. I also love nature and am looking forward to having a place specifically for Mother Earth things lol - more immediately on Tumblr, but eventually in life I'd love to own my own land ♻️🪱🌲

With this intro being said - lemme introduce you to the fam!

(Not all of them have actual names - I love them all equally but I do also have favorites lol)

A baby pothos from my Mama Pothos (pictured below)

my Ginny plant (Peperomia clusiifolia) - yes, she's going through it but we're loving her through it

my rubber tree plant Sinatra that hasn't been a fan of my recent move but we're loving him through it

Mama Spider Plant! My recent move was also hard on her, but she's hearty and will be back to thriving in no time

One of my prides and joys - Mama Pothos herself. I know she may not look like much right now, but before my move I gave her a major haircut. Before that though, she trailed probably two feet across my walls!

a Schefflera cutting a friend gave me - truly took a month at least to root from a cutting, and I've been putting off a repot because I'm worried about shocking her

I cut my peperomia to propagate it and a little droplet of water made its way back up the stem is this normal???

It’s kinda cute but im also a bit worried

... at least I know she drinks her water well
