Plantlings - Part 01

The very basic information on the Plantlings! Because they are obviously inspired by Sylvari, I still wanted to keep the idea that they can sense each others emotions through their innate magic. There is no"Dream" however, this connection is more like the underground network of mycelium but invisible and not phsyically connected - and the emotional connection also extends to all the plants the Plantling may be near. It helps them sense the well being and health of each other. I'll write and expand on this more (And how their spines are a vital part of this connection in upcoming sheets!)

Plantlings - Part 02

A little bit of basic world building! Nothing super in-depth but I wanted to share some of context for the area in which you can find Plantlings. The further they emerge from the centre (Which is the Island), the weaker their connection is. Only a few have strong magical powers, and they are the oldest and the ones who emerged closest to the island. Pépin is the first and only Plantling to have ever emerged from the Island itself.

In further sheets I'll explore the connection, the relationship to magic, the mysterious Grave and it's source of magic, the Plantlings lives/how they live like homes and and stuff, and a bunch of other stuff!

Here's the two Plantlings from that info sheet! The one on the left emerged from a grove of Birch trees, and the one on the right is from a ferny cave!
