sorry not sorry about all the #plantspam lately 🌵🤣 just had to update with progress pics of this #opuntiapolyacantha since i posted it two weeks ago when it was just budding! it’s really fun observing the daily changes in the shop-side xeric demo garden - plants grow a lot faster when they’re in the ground with the full sky above (at ALL ITS OWN)

Extra chuffed about this so Tumblr gets spammed as well. Man, I am so damn proud of these wax plants. I got the poor things back in January for $3 each when they were on death's door at Home Depot. Must have trimmed 5 lbs of dead leaves off them when I got them home and now six months later, they are thriving.
