I've been wanting to try out gouache for the longest time, because it is the most beautiful medium I've ever seen! but I've been SO nervous, so I drew a simple peony, and I'm going to just trace it/carbon-paper copy it multiple times onto watercolor paper to get a hang of the medium (and because I know I'll make a mess of it for a while!).

We get asked tons of questions about moss poles so here’s a few tips for keeping your plant happy with it’s new bff: -if your pole is made of moss like the ones we make in the shop, keep it moist!
