Explore Great Britain in 3D
What is it? The aerial 3D mapping function now available on OS Maps, the online mapping service by the Ordnance Survey. The maps allow routes to be viewed in 3D from a range of angles and in great detail.
It’s good because not only do the amazing 3D images highlight the stunning landscape of Great Britain, they also have a more practical purpose. The 3D maps allow travellers to plan their routes better and gives an improved perspective of any difficulties or hazards on the route. Hopefully, these fantastic maps will inspire us all to get outside and explore!
