Also, in the first episode of your podcast you mentioned that Johnny and Daken had a relationship, I was wondering if you could explain that a little if it’s not too much trouble because you had also said you wanted Johnny to be bisexual and I didn’t know if he had dated other men? So I have a deep read on Johnny and Daken’s relationship here that should clear some stuff up for you. The nature of the relationship is vague in canon, but Marjorie Liu, years after the stories were written, tweeted this:
So for me personally DakenJohnny is in a weird canon grey area where it happened, but Marvel is under very little pressure to acknowledge Johnny’s romantic or sexual interest in men.
That being said, I also have a history on the subtext of Johnny Storm and said romantic or sexual interest in men here.
