Don’t forget your Toothbrush 😬 Latest to go in the #plasticswaps I’ve been working on since July ! 4.7 billion plastic toothbrushes are thrown away every year. Every single piece of plastic ever made still exists on the planet. I was reluctant to change my trusty brush. And thought options were limited. But those two facts are enough for me. Knowledge is power. So we’ve gone bamboo. Tell me what you think. Can you switch your brush? Have you tried? What other options are there? S.U.P. no more.🥤 Sucking Straws last June - I had full faith in recycling. And my head in the sand probably. I drank buckets of bottled water and used straws whenever. Cling film by the boat load. Tried to avoid plastic bags but mainly forgot the others.... ▶️▶️Today I feel so ashamed I spent so many years / decades filling up the oceans and the planet with tennis courts of single use plastic. I can’t undo that. But I’ve stemmed the tide from this household.
