It was two years ago this week that I finished my book proposal and sent it off to publishers. My agent Leila at @stonesongnyc worked with me and never gave up hope that we would be able to sell this book. A week later I signed my first book deal with Lorena Jones at @tenspeedpress and @penguinrandomhouse . It took two years to write, edit, review, and edit some more- then naming and art and so on. Today I received the first copy of my very first book, PLATFORM. The feeling is unreal and I can’t wait for Feb. 5 when it is officially published!
