hey u seem to know lots abt utdr theories, i wanted to ask what the difference is between the ut and dr world, esp the characters? i never rlly got into the theories bc i didnt get if it was like... a watsonian or a doyilistic alt universe, which affects how u analyze the characters from undertale, so i rlly fell off after chap 2. but i came across ur comics and i wanna be into it again! like i LOVE your susies she is by far the best character. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🦷🦷

mainly...... kris vs frisk? not even getting INTO chara? were they the same person? if theyre a different instance of that person, then it follows that the undertale characters arent the same, and originally i thought it was a sequel to the route where everyone escapes to the surface, but.. kris is not frisk? did they die? i originally assumed kris was a sibling, idk
like obviously there are alt routes and universes in both games, but the dr universe is not any type of ut continuity right? do we analyse them as seperate?? ofc the world of undertale can be a dark world and all the monsters were darklers and that gives us hope to get ralsei out lol, but at the end of the day, these arent the same characters who experienced that world with frisk and the player right......? except arent they.....? it just confuses me so much as a casual 💀💀💀 tysm if ur able to fix me
I'm no big theory person but from MY VIEW - Deltarune is an alternate universe to Undertale. It shares some characters, but AS FAR AS WE KNOW isn't connected to what happens in any undertale routes.
Kris is DEFINITELY NOT CHARA, though people do have the argument that they are simply an alternate version of Frisk (just like deltarune!Toriel is an alternate version of undertale!Toriel for example). But that is not confirmed as of yet either. Neither Chara or Frisk have appeared yet.
SO basically, don't think about deltarune as a prequel or a sequel, they are simply another universe with something else going on, IT MIGHT be a prequel in some theories, but it'll be too complicated to explain I think. I don't really have any theories I can think of that arent outdated rn? It might be good to just play/watch a gameplay, and then looking for some theories when you're curious about it
