As a Berdly fan, I will be approaching Chapter 5 with the same reluctance as someone stepping into a cold pool for the first time in a day. Not because I doubt Toby Fox’s ability as a writer. But because mah boy has pretty much set himself up for humiliation last chapter. And It’s going to hurt to watch, lol

i think the thornring scene in ch4 has locked us into the weird route. i predict that there wont be any weird route aborts from now on, you made this bed now lie in it
along with that, i think the only reason Berdly lived in ch4 is because the weird route could still be aborted. iunno how theyd explain it in game but maybe he makes a miraculous recovery and will be up to ch5 festival shenanigans with everyone else
but now that we may be locked in to the weird route fully i do think hes gonna flatline. they gave us one last chance and we didnt take it so now we see the real consequences of our actions
