answers below! it got a bit long because i got carried away ^^

1) what is nova's greatest fear?

nova's greatest fear is failure. even though she's distanced herself from her family in seesai, she still grew up influenced by their unrealistic expectations of her. her first couple of seasons in sandrock left her anxious and worried over if she had set herself up for failure by moving to the town every single day and night. to try and combat these worries, she overcompensated and took on too many large commissions at a time, way past what her limit was - after an incident that caused her to get injured and fall sick for a bit, and a good scolding by grandma vivi, she's started to work through this fear so that it doesn't take over her again.

2) does nova have any hobbies? what does she like about them?

she makes jewelry and accessories!! she wanted to pursue selling her creations but ended up getting pushed into becoming a builder by her family. she still works on them for stress relief in between commissions and has even made a few for her friends in sandrock, but feels a bit too shy to actually gift them, so she waits for special events or their birthdays to gift them the accessories. she finds it relaxing and loves drawing designs for new accessories - whenever she goes diving in the ruins, she pockets a small amount of materials for her jewelry and sets aside the rest for commissions. (in the future, she'll eventually turn away from regularly taking on commissions to focus on being a jeweler. 💍)
