Got a call for a bogged Jeep Cheroke out at gunn point... A recovery only nightmares are made of..... when the track you came in on turns to a rocking and rolling waterbed as you drive over it!! After the NT Police came to the rescue of two families bogged out at Blackmore River and Middle Arm on Sunday night, they also became bogged. Who do the police call to bring the big guns in to help??? The TRG!! They came in a flash rolling in 200 series, quads and a buggy to rescue the family who were running out of water. NT Towing were called in to recover the two bogged vehicles, getting in there wasn’t a big job for our purpose built recovery vehicles but getting out was another story!! The recent rain caused the ground to become waterlogged which was like driving on a water bed with a 2 ton car. All 4 cars broke the surface on more than one occasion but persistence, in depth knowledge and sheer determination overcame and we still retain our guaranteed 100% recovery rate.
