My spouse hung my two big post-it note sheet pads just in time for my weekly collaboration chat with @erincasey09

Looking forward to some story-boarding work tomorrow. Or perhaps we're going to further update and re-backstory characters? Or perhaps discuss the idiosyncrasies of our supernatural characters?

Collaboration day is less structured and more 'throw stuff at a wall and see what sticks' for now.

So: It Begins

Welp, the first steps of taking a story over ten years old and turning it from a pile of discarded threads into a beautiful quilt has begun. We've got story being fleshed out. Characters being removed, repurposed, or reinvented. I've got post-its in three sizes, a felt and writing board on my wall, and so much attempts at prep and order I wish my office was this organized.

But the worst part?

For all my organizational skills and need for structure, order, and planning? I know I'm a pantser. My co-author is about as chaotic.

It's gonna be a mess. And so much fun.

I was granted access to #dalle2 and am so excited! Looking forward to generating images to help build the world of The Purple Door District (PDD) and the companion series, Fates & Furies, with my co-writer, @erincasey09, or just have general fun.

Here's my attempt at creating Bianca, the protagonist of The Purple Door District, and yes, that's her caracara on her arm (I had to get creative with that.) Made in Dall-E with a little post-editing by myself.

I'm looking forward to generating more characters and locations. Stay tuned to this space as Erin Casey and will start work on bringing the world of Fates & Furies to life!

The mysterious A.E. here!

I have ventured beyond the Purple Doors while Erin (https://twitter.com/erincasey09) has been hard at work getting the Kickstarter rewards together, and have returned with, not one, but TWO lovely stamp designs for the Limited Edition (mis)Prints!!

These stamps are fae touched, cunningly acquired, and can only be used a limited number of times -- how lucky the limit is equal to the number of misprints!
