Imagine the pale kings from og hollow knight and pleasant beginnings meeting

As a default characterization I headcanon that PK isn't a fan of himself when its just him

so if you put two PKs in a room together, regardless of their timelines, they're going to instantly dislike each other, call out their flaws and misgivings and hit as many low blows as they can before the other PK gets to them first

once they get past that, Pleasant Beginnings PK would be horrified and shocked of what OG PK did to their children

Original PK would immediately shoot back at Pleasant PK for thinking he is above making such decisions, as they both are the same and know what it costs to be a King and maintain their godhood

and then Pleasant PK would point out that he never challenged The Radiance in the first place

(cut content that changed my perspective of what happened)

cue Original PK becoming horrified at the thought of sharing a kingdom with another god as volatile as The Radiance

it'd go nowhere and they'd just hate each other more

so ever since this post with @mrslittletall​ ive been thinking about Hallow and them having wings- since all the vessels from that AU would have fully functional wings

also there’s some fun holographic colors that are covered up by all that light

Hello this is “Pleasant Beginnings” AU where PK saw the problem with the moth tribe converting to his light and went to have a serious chat the Radiance instead of ignoring her and almost letting her die so as a result WL and PK had a chance to have actual kids.

and “Hollow” is happy

hey guys have you heard it’s impossible for me to make a completely happy au bc if you remove one issue you uncover other issues that couldn’t come into the light

PK hasn’t experienced the soul crushing guilt of losing his wife and sending his only assumed “living” child to contain a bloodthirsty old god after sacrificing all of his other offspring.

he tends to take things for granted in this AU, and Hallow just... wants approval.
