Story time

So I saw a post today that was something like “Can I lie on someone’s chest while someone reads to me?” and it made me yearn but not cause I wanna be the listener, because I wanna be the reader. I love reading to people. When I was in high school we had study periods and the drama teacher would let me hijack hers to read The Princess Bride a bunch of highschoolers and it was so much fun. I want someone to lie on my chest while I read to them.

Rinnah fluffed up her hair a bit, and dusted herself off, before giving him an almost smug grin.

“Well, if you must know, I do have a body temperature of just over a hundred degrees. I also come in two sizes, which means you can either hold me like a teddy bear, or have me drape over you like a blanket.”

There was a pause, then, after which her grin turned sheepish.

“Typically I prefer being held, but I’ll do the blanket thing if you really would prefer that.”
