my way of playing ts4 in 2025:
booting up ts4.
waiting 13 minutes for the game to unfreeze because of 89 gb of installed mods.
hopping into cas.
spinning around one sim for an hour before giving up and closing the game to look for more cc.
installing more cc before booting up the game again.
waiting 15 minutes for the game to unfreeze because of 92gb of installed mods.
hopping into cas.
spinning around one sim for an hour before giving up and closing the game bc you forgot to install that one mesh for that shirt recolor you thought looked cute.
looking for more cc because why the fuck not and then installing it
booting up ts4 and waiting 17 minutes for the game to unfreeze because of 96gb of installed mods.
remembering that you still forgot to download and install that one fucking mesh of that one fucking shirt recolor you thought looked cute.
closing the game and ending up playing another game without noticing that ts4 updates in the background after restarting your pc even though you disabled automatic updates and forgot for once to start the ea app in offline mode.
giving your cas session another chance hours later and feeling oddly euphoric bc suddenly the game boots up in a minute for some reason.
realizing that mods were disabled bc of that update that happened without your consent.
reactivating the mods and restarting the game.
remembering weeks later to finally download and put that required mesh of that cute shirt recolor into your game only to find the download link of the required mesh to be dead or behind a fucking paywall.
i'm okay i swear.
