Random Questions I Have About St. George

I know that there are medics for post-fighting, but what about sickness? What if a soldier gets a chronic illness or a terminal illness, are there people for that? And half of these kids are teenagers, are there pediatricians at the Chapter House? Are soldiers allowed to fight if they develop disease? What about disabilities like scoliosis or RLS?

What about dental work? I mean, you can die of a toothache or a cavity if it isn’t helped and sometimes they mess up one’s nervous system. And wisdom teeth are pretty much always removed in developed countries. Are there angry teenage soldiers walking around with braces? Where do they go to get this done, is there someone in the Chapter house or do they have to go to a normal person town?

Glasses? Contacts? Do they just not let kids with awful vision into the Order? Even if they did that, at forty it’s pretty much a given to lose good vision and there are kids born into St. George. Where is the equipment for testing kept at? How do people get the resources for making glasses/contacts?

Soldiers with PTSD, soldiers with depression, soldiers with DID, etc, they’re bound to happen, how does that work? Would the soldier in question be looked down upon for it or is it considered a common occurrence that happens to everyone? Are there mandatory group therapy meetings that the everyone has to go to? 

Just... How does this work????
