psa to any parent: PLEASE teach your kids about “woke” topics. When I was younger I thought the only way you could be lesbian was to be a tomboy because only masc people could like fem people. I was genuinely convinced that there was no way you could have a fem/fem or a masc/masc relationship because of heteronormative stereotypes!! I thought that since I didn’t like dresses, dolls, pink, cooking, having kids, I would end up as a boy (I mean I did) and that thought scared me. I thought that you HAD to stick to what people said was right, or else you were weird, so I pretended I liked them.

psa to any kids showmakers or educators(I doubt they reside here but whatever): PLEASE put Asian/Latin/Black/Non-white rep in your shows!! I used to HEAVILY Americanize myself because I thought no one knew what the Philippines were. I even did this to my cousins, and my mom had to explain to me that they used the same terms as me. I thought NO ONE knew about the Philippines, and was shocked when I first heard someone else mention it. Why? Because I was never taught my history. There were no shows with people like me, so I assumed it was weird to not be anything but white.
