About 3-4 years ago I played these two games, sacrarium Pario/Gelus. And to this day they are my favorite visual novels (which means a lot because I almost played the entire itch.io list 😭)

Back then I had nowhere to post fanart of my keybell's and Voidlight's design but now I can !

While Calli may look cute -well sometimes with people they trust- but they're actually pretty sneaky, and a ball of sassiness, they get themselves in trouble often, but they're also the one that get themselves and those they love out of trouble, this design is a while later in the story (after Hei gives them the coat gift, they never take it off afterwards) so I gave them a more ethereal look because they're the lover of a god/warden of course ! ;)

Anyways please tell me which design looks the best because I like all of them and can't pick one 😔😅

WARNING: Mention of TADC spoilers ahead. I have not and will not watch the leak, but I have (unfortunately) seen some very minor spoilers that I will mention below. Click with caution!

This could just be me on my copium bs, but I'm taking a bit of solace in the idea that the people who went out of their way to watch the leaks, and were subsequently disappointed at/upset with the ending, were most likely not the target audience. Anyone who doesn't have the self-control to wait the month we have left before the finale releases officially, probably doesn't have the media literacy skills required to fully appreciate the work either.

Also, while I appreciate the sentiment of the people sharing fake spoilers to try and make the real ones harder to spot, I don't think it's working. Every time I see a textpost that looks like it could be spoilers, I feel incredible dread and scroll past it as fast as possible or close the app entirely. It's sad to open tumblr and see it's become a ghost town. Almost all of my dash is community posts now, and most of them are text I have to avoid because people don't seem to understand how spoilers work, or how to fucking tag them.

Like, I found out about the poor reception because someone had posted a poll asking what people thought about the ending if they'd seen the leak. Which is... Fine, I guess, I could just skip the poll. But that doesn't work if they edit the fucking post to announce which option is winning!!!! And they didn't even tag for discussion of spoilers!!!!! Like, what the fuck, dude?!?!!?! I get being curious, but some of us wanted to go in blind!!!!!!

“Let’s have a sleepover!” “A sexy sleepover!” They spend the entire night trying on a bunch of clothes they’d bought and forgotten about, swapping with each other and donating what they don’t keep

Considering if a new cat is good for them and what should they name it

Calling each other losers and other affectionate insults in handwritten notes

Sitting in a parking lot late at night with their favorite fast food, talking about the future

Walking around a mall together out of sheer boredom. Then they people watch while drinking milkshakes at the food court

“Hey, you wanna come with me? I just gotta pick up one thing.” Six hours later the two come back with a lot more bags and things they didn’t need

Going to the hair store and taking forever to decide what color they want to add to their hair and what hair accessories they want. Bonus point if they brought the other to help them decide but they’re both indecisive

The two decide they’re gonna try and take care of a plant to see how it goes. Now they have 78 plants all around the house

One calling the other to explain themselves after impulse buying something they know they don’t need

They decide to go out and be completely matching. Down to the accessories, the shoes, the hairstyle and the undergarments. You know, just for funsies

Planning a vacation they’ll forget about in two weeks

Swapping wardrobes for a day and seeing if other people notice

Surprising the other at work with lunch because they know they aren’t feeding themself enough

Calling the other to make sure they got up for work/class/etc.
