Meet La Sera. Their lead, Katy Goodman, is one of the coolest chicks you may ever meet. No seriously. Physics major turned astrophysicist (for a quick sec) turned professor turned band member of the great Vivian Girls turned video game programer turned columnist turned lead singer of her current project, La Sera. Ok, you can take a breath. Shockingly, she didn't go to Wellesley. The band, who toured with Kate Nash last fall, is releasing their new album on 5/13 and I'm beyond stoked. Because your ears will thank me later, and because I'd like to think i'm psychic, take a listen to "Please Be My Third Eye" off La Sera's latest album, Sees the Light.
