Feeling anxious??

Make something. Make something out of those feelings. I don’t care what it is. Take the paralytic fear and the hopelessness and the isolation and vomit it out into something creative. Write a poem. Write a short story. Crochet a bleeding heart. Draw a picture. Write a bunch of scribbled words down on a piece of paper, rip them out and rearrange them into some sort of smashed-up poem thing. Take the ashes from your decimated heart and mix them with some water and use them to paint something. Take the voices that are whispering inside your head and chain them up and make them sing for you. Cutting is not the way to get those feelings out of your veins--creativity lets you purge yourself. Doodle a freaking butterfly I don’t care what you do with it as long as you are making those feelings work for you.
