I know it hurts. I know you feel it takes a long time. I know you put your emotionnal self into brackets for me.
I know and i am grateful.
Thoughts On Love
I watched a movie recently and it got me thinking; this is the conclusion I've come to: There is no real love like there use to be. Like the love that can endure anything. Like the kind of love you see when you look at an old couple staring into each others eyes. Genuine love. The kind of love that movies try to depict when a man would go through hell to save his significant other. He would die to ensure her safety. He would do anything to be with her. He would protect her with every ounce of his being. She would diminish anything in her way just to be by his side; to make him happy. True love. People are too wrapped up in themselves to express this kind of love. To even possess this kind of love within them. It saddens me to think of this. I would give anything to receive this love and to give it out in return. I just don't think that it's out there anymore. If it is then it is rare and you are truly blessed if you are lucky enough to find it in this world. I really hope that I am wrong about this because I don't think there is much to look forward to in life if this kind of love isn't there anymore. What's the point? I hope that there are still people out there that know how to love like this. If there are some and they happen to stumble upon this post, please keep doing what you're doing. Don't conform to this generations definition of love. Please stay the way you are because you are the ones that are worth waiting for. I hope I am lucky enough to find this kind of love one day.
