I am currently a home pre-schooling mother of the youngest of my 3 children in NC. My husband of 16 years works with at risk youth and is an aspiring speech pathologist. I also plan to complete my education in elementary education after my youngest starts kindergarten in the new school year. At the beginning of the year our only vehicle and I were struck by lightning. I was unharmed but our vehicle not so much. All the electrical including the modules, battery, alternator, dash cluster, starter, main computer, ABS system, and all sensors were destroyed. Our insurance would not cover the $4475.76 in damages and we are stuck with this bill while still paying on the vehicle. My husband is in recovery from shoulder surgery and is unable to work his second job. I am in pursuit of employment at this time, with no call backs as of yet. With 3 young children under 7 our financial situation is getting to be a very hard struggle. We have exhausted all of our resources and have no other option but to reach out for help.
