I normally stay silent about politics on social media. I don't feel it's worth the energy to get into fights with strangers on the internet. But today I make an exception. . Please go and vote. And please vote for a candidate who actually CARES about "the tired, the poor, the huddled masses". . Vote for a candidate who cares about women and WON'T strip us of our health protections, or our rights to our own body autonomy. . Vote for a candidate who understands that there are more than just Christians in this country. That Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, and more, all have the right to practice what they believe as well. . Vote for a candidate who will do something about the student loan crisis. A crisis keeping myself, and many others, underwater in debt. . Vote for a candidate who will stand up for the environment. Who will acknowledge that global warming is real, and that we may be beyond the point of no return. That the Earth, our only home, may be beyond repair. . Vote for a candidate who actually cares about you and your beliefs. . Please, go and vote. Today, and in November. And when you do, keep in mind those that need the most help, and place yourselves in their shoes and what would help them. . I ask this as a woman, as a Jew, as someone who wants to see the good and hope in the world, please make the right choice. . #vote #ivoted #ivotedtoday #pleasevote #pleasevotewisely #pleasevote2020 (at Bartlett Elementary School) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8ba_jNJSUy/?igshid=6jof6u8d3lb5
