Today is by far the longest and most fruitful off day I've had since I started fulltime ministry. I usually wake up past 11am on my off day and just eat chill and watch TV.. but today, I exercised, did reflections, did groceries, cooked dinner, napped, watched TV, build Christmas tree, spent time with the hubs... The lougong asked how I felt about spending our anniversary at home.. and I thought "it couldn't have been better". I think I'm seriously aging. Valentine’s day was spent waking up at 11am, having our favorite chicken cutlet from the coffee shop opposite our house for lunch, watching 6 episodes of A Korean Odyssey, having home cooked steak by the husband for dinner, and doing groceries after dinner. Nothing fancy but I loved every moment spent together. I was a little upset when the lougong said last week that he hasn’t taken leave for 14/2...thank God that his boss allowed him to take leave. And thank you lougong for spending the day with meeeeee 🙆🏻❤️ #plenntifful #plenntiffuleats #plenntiffulhome

Day 5/6: Spent half the day traveling from Mui Ne back to #hcmc so didn't have much happening today. Highlight of today was our crab dinner! There's a legit stall at 84 Dinh Tien Hoang (used to be at unit 94, hence the name Quan 94, but it moved), which sells everything with crab - crab soup, crab spring rolls, crab vermicelli... We ordered a fried soft shell crab, crab spring rolls, and a whole crab cooked in tamarind sauce, which totaled 975,000VND (~SGD60). This would probably be the most expensive meal we will have in our 6 days trip. The crab is really good though! Day 2/6: We walked 7 hours straight yesterday with occasional breaks in between when we sat down for tea and cupcakes, and dinner. We did the tourist thing yesterday visiting the attractions such as the Norte Dame Cathedral, Saigon Post Office, Ben Thanh Market... did some shopping at the Russian Market, and ended our day having dinner at Co Giang Street. Had wonton noodles which the lougong exclaimed "Wah! V nice!", the pudding called Banh Flan which I really liked (!), Bo La Lot rolled in rice paper, and Bot Chien which was really like Chye Tow Kway in SG.
