"You just seemed scared is all." But Greed hardly knew this boy well enough to know for sure. "What the hell are you doing out here, all alone?"

Greed did look somewhat intimidating, but Wrath wasn't about to admit it. Though he was well aware that he could heal from anything that happened to him and defend himself as well as any homunculus, he had no idea where he was or what Greed was capable of.

"I'm...looking for someone," he replied quickly, eyes flicking toward the ouroboros on Greed's hand as if to confirm what he was. "Envy. They're a homunculus like us, so you know them, right?"

Bars were not really Ed's thing. It wasn't that he had anything against them, it was just that it wasn't really the kind of place he went looking to hang out at. Drinking wasn't high on his list, social drinking was even lower on his list, and the atmosphere ranged from a place everyone went to get plastered to way too high end for him to ever feel comfortable in. But it was the regular invitaton offered, to go out after an especially long day and have a few drinks. Unwind, blow of steam, whatever they wanted to call it.

Ed completely lost interest an hour in when half the group was well on the way to needing help out the door. The rest were going to need a cab called.

He slipped away and went up to the bar counter itself, leaning over it to look down the stretch of it for whoever was handing out drinks. The guy he recognized from the few other times he'd allowed himself to come along for the outing, and Ed waved to get his attention, "Hey, can I get a coke and five waters?" did he expect that the waters would be taken? No, but it was worth a shot. Maybe he could convince them it was cheap vodka or something.

He was pretty sure Greed would still need to eat food at some point, people got grumpy when they didn’t eat for a long time. Or they were Gluttony and just always hungry.

“How many people do you think get smacked under these because someone tried to take advantage of the tradition and it backfired?” it sort of just came out as he looked up at the mistletoe from his seat at the bar. Probably not the most romantic first thought about it but Ed wasn’t sure he was overly romantic to start with. He looked over at Greed and pointed up at it, “Just as importantly, how many people do I have to smack for trying to take advantage and kiss the hot guy at the bar because of it?”

His face very quickly found it’s way pressed against Greed’s neck, eyes squeezed shut and arms hugging around his neck with every intention to stay there until the storm passed. Or at least until the thunder would stop.

It was just a little to cold to be interested in leaving the building, which left movies or other home entertainment to be the way to pass the day. Pride watched the mugs of hot chocolate slowly spin in the microwave and peeked over at Greed before back again quickly. He still hadn’t acted yet. Not in the way he’d gotten advice on anyways. Part of him wanted to just walk over and do it as he handed the other the hot drink once it was finished. Every other part was making nervous, squeak-like sounds in a corner bright red.

Both of them combined in his head was leaving the blonde to not only stare at the microwave, but pout at it and occasionally tug at the over-sized sweater he dug up to keep warm.
