Krešimir Ivančić is a young winemaker, among the first in Croatia to introduce the new technology of producing wine and sparkling wines with cold maceration. His family has been making wine for generations and they have a long tradition of winemaking. Their vineyards are located on the highest parts of Plešivica over 400m above sea level, facing south which allows them to produce premium grapes. . . . We are preparing our next Croatian shipment and we’ll have several Griffin still and sparkling wines. Next week we will be tasting and reviewing the Griffin sparkling wine made from the obscure Portugizier grape.
