No, her family didn’t have business to do in New York. And yes, New York is indeed a bit far away from Townsville. But the teenager heard about strange things happening there and it involved monsters, so why not go to kick some butt?

Unfortunetly Kaoru didn’t find any creepy monsters or aliens, so she decided to hang out for the rest of the day in NY. At least she has her skateboard with her. And so, Kaoru was skateboarding in  the streets, not paying much attention to other people but more to the big city. And that distraccion made her crash with someone, apparently a kid.

     “Oh crap!” At least she didn’t fall to the ground, but now her stomach hurts a little. “I’m sorry kid, I wasn’t paying attention...” And then she looked at him and stayed silent.

His skin was purple.

"My Fatherly One got a new pair of purple....what you earth humans call 'jeggins' today..."

“Jeggings??” The orange banded turtle wondered, tilting his head to the side. He wasn’t really all that accustomed to human clothing, and had to think for a while, before he realized “Ohhhh! I get it!”

"You must be a turtle....? My training module on Earth livestock mentioned something about turtles."

Mikey looked up at the one in front of him with big eyes, blinking a little. Okay, that was fairly strange, but when the youngest turtle thought about it, he had seen some pretty weird things, so this was only mildly strange to him. 

He rubbed the back of his neck, a little, sending a grin his way “Yeah, I’m a turtle.. But not a normal turtle! I’m a mutant turtle!” He replied, tilting his head to the side.

Late afternoon park walks had always been one of the most appealing hours for Miku to venture around without a worry. Though she preferred the wooded paths just in case, she was still pretty tranquil. As usual her headphones had been blared to the point where music was seeping through the speakers, causing her to completely ignore almost everything around her. At least, until, her clumsiness had decided to shine through, causing her to walk face first into the thick trunk of a tree. Pulling back from the trunk, she huffed up at it starting to return to her journey on the path until something caught her eye. Looking towards what seemed to be a person with...Purple skin? She blinked a few times before shaking her head a little. 

“I either hit that tree a little too hard, or that.. Is not your everyday New York-er.”
