Five Companies Selected Under India’s PLI White Goods Scheme
Five companies have been provisionally selected in the fourth round of India’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for White Goods with a committed investment of ₹863 crore, focused on manufacturing key air-conditioner components. These firms are expected to generate production worth over ₹8,300 crore and create nearly 1,800 jobs by FY 2027-28, bolstering domestic manufacturing capacity. The scheme, covering both AC and LED light sectors, aims to enhance local supply chains, attract investment, and strengthen India’s white goods industry.
