ive rewatched the scene where emily’s mom tells off mr. mccullers at least 10 times over the years now and i will never not ugly cry during that scene. it’s just such an amazing moment where pam finally realizes that her child’s well-being is more important than a perfect image. i feel like it’s just such a powerful and underrated scene that no one talks about. yeah, she did a lot of damage with maya, but she really wants the best for emily and loves her.
