Honestly, if I had to guess the plot of “Pine Point” purely based on @zeddyzi’s old art from 2021, I would say it’s about two guys meeting in a ghost town and just hanging out there and being chill.

jess i feel like im going insane. i was suddenly Hit by a Thought bc of that last ask: ares isn't the first to go by the name. & we know charon used to be Somebody on olympus & they REALLY don't like who they used to be & it was a very fraught past. the thing i couldn't get was the water aspect, but as i frantically googled ares mythology, i came across the founding myth of thebes, and??? i know this will only be posted for posterity & maybe someone's even already guessed, but. charon was ares??

Omg sorry for sending back to back asks but, as I was doing another playthrough this cought my eye in the beginning "The white wolf pelt at her shoulders moves when she shrugs." when talking to our mother after the raid on Divio and then I REMEMBERED THE VISION ABOUT THE TRAPPED WOLF AND A PERSON CUTTING ITS HEART OUT TELL ME I'M WRONG PLEASE 😭😭😭

Wait, Charon was Ares!? What does that mean!? I know he wasn't in Underworld before Hades, but... God, my mind's burning! Does that mean Styx used to be Olympus Goddess before!? And that she wants to go back for all the gold and glory!?
I'm not confirming or denying anything, anon. I post plot guesses sent to me for posterity purposes. This was the first time I've gotten that particular guess, is what I meant.
However, if it is correct, then it stands to reason that Styx also once lived on Olympus, as she is indeed Charon's sister.
Plot twist: Styx likes Hades but never admit, thinking that he will never marry anyone anyway. And congratulations, here comes Hadesmancers! PC, now she will do anything to separate them

The end of the new chapter (love it(ﾉ*>∀<)ﾉ♡!) got me very... knotted? I seriously can't help but go into bunches of theories if PC's human before turning Demeter's daughter... Like Makaria? Maybe? If that's so, wow, just wow😮

Good guess mythologically speaking but no! Not in this case, heh. Minthe does exist though. She hangs out in the Underworld with her wife Leuke, who is also not the answer. Asphodel!Hades has a bad reputation, but he really doesn’t do the whole “abduction” thing. He does however, sometimes let people think he does for other purposes!
You can meet Minthe and Leuke as early as Chapter Two, actually, though I don’t think it will be a path many players go down, as it involves declining an invitation to spend time with the whole main cast, heh.
Theory for the record; the line is "Divio is burning." and not "Divio is under attack." because whichever faction you sided with, they're the ones who turn on you.
