After the (very important) conversation with Kaede, Kiibo finally headed home. It had been a long while since that had happened, sadly, but you could tell that the bot was at least happy to return by the smile on his face. The preparation for exams alongside the constant research he had been doing about the Killing Game hadn't made things easy schedule-wise, so he hadn't been able to leave the academy much for the past couple of weeks.
But now he was here, with a certain laptop held tight in his arm. Knocking at the door, Kiibo beamed as he reunited with his father, and started their usual "welcome home" conversation, greetings and all. (Which mod would write but this is getting long-) Before the conversation got too in detail however, Kiibo had something to show the professor. Something that he only discovered that morning. while he was with Kaede. An alternate version of Chiaki Nanami, the Ultimate Gamer, now stuck in a laptop as an AI.
Then, Kiibo explained the information to his father, and the project he had come up with. The professor had told Kiibo about his lack of innovative ideas as of late, and Chiaki still needed a body despite Miu’s disappearance, so it’d be perfect for the both of them!
"...and that's why I have this laptop with me actually. It withholds Chiaki's AI in it, so if you wish you communicate with her, you just have to power on this laptop. So, what do you say?"
Kiibo concluded, estatically. This would work, most likely. He knew it.
"R-really? So to get this straight, an AI is inside of that laptop right now, and you two agreed that I could be able to help?”
The professor asked, in both awe that Kiibo would come up with such idea, and of Chiaki’s existence, actually. Who had come to the idea that she would be... alone in there? If it weren’t for Chiaki’s status as a gamer, and the fact that she was able to talk to others through the computer (or at least, that was what Kiibo claimed.) he’d actually think that she’d be rather lonely in there...
“Mhm! That’s exactly the situation right now. I had the feeling that a project similar to this would be beneficial to both of you, so that’s why I felt the need to tell you about this.”, Kiibo affirmed.
“Well, then, sure. I’ll work on her body while Miu’s gone for the time being. But can I talk to her first? Just so I know what I’m working with here.”, the professor smiled.
“Of course! Come, I’ll set the laptop in a safe place, and you two can work on the details.”, Kiibo said and smiled back.
And that was the exact moment that the project had begun, once Kiibo had set down the laptop on the kitchen table, and asked the professor to sit aside him to speak to Chiaki, all was set.
