Said (creepily gala-polite) child thanks him for his prompt arrival, and could he possibly add on a delivery service since the kidnappers took him further out of Gotham than expected? Tim promises to pay the extra fee, and will tip well
Cue mental image of bby Tim clinging to Slade’s back like a koala on the way out
It turns into a standing retrieval contract and goes on for a couple years until Tim becomes Robin and figures out how to avoid most of the kidnappers and/or just save himself
until one time he’s captured and can’t break out for some reason. hostage situation? Idk
But fucking Deathstroke shows up to save the day Tim, who’s surprised because he’s a Robin now and didn’t even consider requesting a “pickup”
