Apparently the satanic play-by-play known as Al Trautwig for his clearly incorrect comment about Simone Biles’s parents. This is the latest in a long line of clearly stupid things he has said in his 16+ years with NBC.

This racist and incompetent dirtbag has to go. As fans of gymnastics, why do we have to stand idly by and watch the coverage of the sport we love turn into some benign bullshit that can easily slip into offensive? Literally, the NBC online stream of the Team Final brought me to happy tears, because they showed at least two routines from every country in the final. And the commentators were DOING THEIR JOB. Praise Courtney, Jim, and Jonathan for actually keeping the discussion intelligent and positive throughout the All Around and Team Final, it definitely helped me learn more about the sport!
