IT’S A BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR ONCE. the past few days have been sweltering humidity; and he’s spent the last few nights feeling sleepless due to the heat. so he clings to the blessing that is the soft wind rustling, and the meteorologists’ promise for more temperate days throughout the week.

HE’S SPENT THE LAST FEW HOURS simply running errands on what is technically his day-off. sebastian still has a few articles he wants to get ahead on; but he’s pushing all thoughts aside, dismissing them to be problems for later. for now, he walks to captain coffee to spoil himself with a four-dollar drink for today. and while there are empty chairs, sebastian spots a man on his computer and throws caution to the wind.

HE’S NOT EXACTLY EXPECTING FOR the man to actually agree, but there aren’t any complaints on sebastian’s end. especially when the man looks up, and sebastian lets himself admit he’s handsome; a man you would look twice at. maybe even more. he’s familiar to sebastian, somehow, but most people are; when you work at the main news networks covering the campus, you meet all sorts of people. sebastian never forgets a face though.

SEBASTIAN FLASHES A SMILE BACK, “ thanks. ” sinking down into the chair carefully, putting his bag next to him.

THE MAN IS VERY CLEARLY PROFESSIONAL, and sebastian adapts easily, years worth of attending fancy rich parties coming in handy, “ i’m sebastian, it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. ” part of him swears he’s seen him before at the museum during one of the collection releases, and sebastian’s never been wrong before, “ sorry if this is forward — but i believe we’ve met before… do you work at the museum as a curator there ? ”
