But we decided to open our ecosystem of integrations to a world of new possibilities: we relased the Atooma Plugin SDK.
Thanks to this open-source Plugin SDK, any android developer can easily create new IF/DO building blocks (aka “modules”) for Atooma - Smart Assistant
Once finished, the plugins are released on Google Play as stand alone apps. Any Atooma user can download them, install them, and then use them in-app. They will find every installed plugin inside the “PLUGIN” cluster.

Much like a mobile centered and context aware IFTTT, with Atooma you can create automations counting up to 5 “IF” conditions and 5 “DO” actions. Also, since we work with hardware sensors and use the smartphone as main hub, as long as web based functions aren’t involved the app will work perfectly fine even offline.
(eg. “IF I plug my headphones and IF I’m running DO launch my favorite music player” does not need internet connection at all!)
