After the long and grueling golf match, we both entered the clubhouse. We were the only two inside, it seemed. It was one thing to spend entire golf match gazing at P’s red OTC nylon socks and white/red saddle golf shoes that covered his big feet…but being alone with him in the clubhouse intensified the whole thing. “All I want to do is get out of these shoes and put my feet up,” P said with a sense of urgency. I got hard as a rock instantly after he said that. “I’d like to do the same,” I replied somewhat nervously. He was completely unaware I was madly in love with his red OTC sox and golf shoes, not to mention his plus fours. “Well then; why don’t we both go to the drawing room next to the locker room. It’ll make us both look inconspicuous, no?” P said. “Sure thing,” I replied as I tried to control my throbbing boner…

The way we were. Best mate Derek Higgs and me (on the left). 1961, winter club run somewhere in North Kent. Fixies and home-made plus fours. Good memories. Where are you now Derek?
