Daniel watches you flit around the kitchen from his spot on the couch, as you get a tray of snacks together for movie night alone. His eyes trail after you when you place it on the coffee table in front of him and move to sit next to him.
"Why don't you sit here?" He asks, catching your wrist and patting his thigh.
"I'll crush you if I sit on you," You mutter, face heating up.
"Then I'll be taken out by the thing I love most. Come here मेरा प्यार," he tugs you into his lap, arms wrapping around you, "You see? 'M fine."
You feel him squeeze you and nuzzle into your neck. "In fact, I couldn't be happier to have you sitting here."
"J-just put on the movie," your face is burning as he holds you against his chest. You can feel him laugh at your flustered state, relishing the feel of you so close.
