hi! I love your blog :) would you mind trying to help me figure out where this little guy is from? I got him sometime between 2006 and 2008, I think, and maybe from the atlanta zoo’s gift shop. he has some beans in him and is floppy, and his tag was unfortunately cut off years ago. thank you for any possible help!

hi! I immediately recognized him! he is a wild republic 12” cuddlekins baby leopard cub! (maybe jaguar depending on who you ask, lol) He has all the charm (and swagger) of that era of their baby big cats cuddlekins line. The almost hunched posture and posing of that line is super recognizable. I feel like if you went to the zoo anytime in the late 2000s they always had these in the gift shop! I have the cheetah :3

Unfortunately it’s a bit hard to track down listings/other pics, even knowing exactly what plush he is, but here’s a few ebay listings

i really love the style they used back then for these plushies, they also feel so high quality and sturdy with thick fur compared to their newer designs. hope this helps ^_^

hey plushblr, i need your help!!

a long time ago i had this really cute and decently sized cobra rattlesnake plush. i loved it to death, but i got rid of it one day and i regret it SO much

i have two pictures of the plush:

i know for a fact this plush was made before 2014, and maybe its from the late 90s or early 2000s. i dont know what brand it was because i think the tags were all cut off, but i have a gut feeling it might be fiesta or a brand like them

this snake is VERY soft and it was really cuddly too.... please please help!! i’d do anything to get this plushie back 🥺🐍

hi!! the brand is peropero sparkles! they were designed by artist Yurie Sekiya. I’ve posted about them before! This one’s name is Cune ^_^

specifically i think the plush in the pic you gave is this plush because her paws are white. BUT!!!! this is the only plush of her i’ve seen that doesn’t have blue paws, so it might be a knockoff so proceed at you’re own risk! (also because the pink paw pads and the bow is on the wrong side)

Here’s a listing for the bigger 10” version with appropriately blue feet. if you google “Peropero sparkles Cune” you’ll get some other listings for her in different sizes (p.s. the green one is Rue and the blue one is Melo!) hope this helps! ^_^

Maybe a weird question, but I have a Trudi plushie that I don't know what animal it's supposed to be? It looks like a beige cat or squirrel or something, but not convincingly...

I've had it since I was a child so I can't check the current shop, but since you seem to know a lot about plushies, maybe you know something about how/where to find out what it is?

so i combed the internet and the only matching plush I can find is this ebay listing for Trudi Classic Cat Regina Peach. I assume Regina is the style name because there are other colors also named Regina, and Peach is the color. So yes, it’s a kitty!
